Brochure & Banner Design

Company: Absolute Foodie

My Role: As a graphic designer, I took the project from concept to execution.

  • Developed the brand aesthetic and visual language

  • Created print-ready marketing assets like banners and brochures

Type of Work: Freelance Client

About the Company:

Absolute Foodie makes healthy snacking easy and delicious. Their handcrafted energy bars are packed with premium superfoods like oats, nuts, seeds, and berries, bound with honey, with no preservatives or artificial additives. Designed for on-the-go lifestyles, these bars are the perfect guilt-free snack whether you're hitting the gym or working from home.

The goal was to create a bold, appetizing visual identity that reflects the brand’s vibrant personality and builds trust through high-quality, crave-worthy design.

The Process:

1. Understanding the Brand

I immersed myself in Absolute Foodie’s world—playful, modern, and passionate about flavor. I studied their tone, audience, and existing assets to make sure the visual language resonated with their brand values.

2. Concept & Style Direction

  • Color Palette: Fresh, vibrant hues to evoke energy and appetite.

  • Typography: Bold fonts for quick readability and strong brand presence.

  • Imagery: High-quality food shots that tell a story and spark cravings.

Brochure Design:

The tri-fold brochure was crafted with both structure and spontaneity in mind:

  • Modular layout for clean flow and easy navigation.

  • Big, juicy images paired with bite-sized content blocks.

  • Clear CTAs to drive engagement and next steps.

Fence Banner Design:

Designing for outdoor spaces meant focusing on clarity and boldness:

  • Large-scale typography for readability from afar.

  • Strategic use of brand colors to catch the eye.

  • Variants created to adapt to different fence sizes and placements.

Custom Photoshoot:

To make sure the designs looked as good as the product tastes, I worked with a friend who’s a photographer. We did a special photo shoot just for this project. The pictures came out bright, clear, and full of detail—perfect for showing off the bars and their ingredients.

These real, high-quality photos made the brochure and banners look more natural and eye-catching. By using great visuals along with clean design, we told a story that feels fresh, fun, and full of flavor, just like the brand.

Lessons Learned:

This was my first freelance project, and it taught me a lot beyond just design. I learned how to manage my time effectively, juggle multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with clients and collaborators. From coordinating the photoshoot to handling design revisions, every step helped me grow not just as a designer but also as a project manager. It was a hands-on lesson in responsibility, planning, and delivering quality work on time—skills that are just as important as creativity in the freelance world.
